Students learn the common causes of pain and dysfunction in the forearms, hands, and wrists that often plague therapists and their clientele. Topics include: treatment techniques and strategies to reduce the tone of contracted tissues; evaluation and treatment of trigger points referring pain into the area of complaint; nerves entrapped in the soft tissues; and ischemic tenderness from injuries, adhesions, postural distortions, and bio-mechanical origins. A demonstration of new movement patterns shows how to prevent common problems from recurring.
This workshop can be used as a flexibility and strength training program, preparing the body for a strong healthy future treating many people. Isolated steps from this program often don't work.
