CEU Requirements
All licensed massage therapists must obtain TWENTY-FOUR (24) Continuing Education Units each biennium, in addition to completion of an approved HIV/AIDS Education course :
- 2 hrs for Law + 2 hrs for Ethics + 2 hrs medical
errors
- At least 12 hours of Massage Therapy Techniques (may also include history of massage, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and/or pathology)
- Remaining hours: courses such as communication with clients, insurance, psychological dynamics of client-therapist relationship, risk management, charting, etc.
- And an HIV/AIDS course of at least one hour
