Job Placement
At AIMT you not only learn massage therapy, you also learn how to make it a career. We offer Business Development classes so you learn employment skills like how to write a resume, find the right job, negotiate for what you want, or how to set up your own practice. Through participation in community events, internships, and externships, you start to gain prospective clients while you are still in training. We provide the following assistance to our students and graduates.
- Maintain a current listing of jobs from employers seeking qualified massage therapists.
- Post announcements of job openings on school bulletin boards and in the newsletter.
- Provide employers with names and phone numbers of students and graduates who are actively seeking employment.
We assist with job placement but cannot guarantee employment for students or graduates.
Student Advising and Academic Assistance
All instructors, the Director of Education, and School Director are available to meet with students to answer questions about the program, academic concerns, and the massage therapy profession. If you need extra help with your studies you have many options. Watch the videos of your class, speak with your teacher, ask for a study buddy, or special tutoring. In most every class informal study groups form.
Communications
Students can learn about schedule changes, upcoming continuing education classes, and other items of interest through a weekly publication, NSIDE Info.
Housing
Many students choose to leave the north and spend their massage therapy training time in Florida. We do not offer housing but do supply
information
about affordable accommodations in the area.
